We don't split our attention across every make on the road. JHS Taxis exists for one trade: the London black cab, and the drivers who depend on it every day.
Our story
JHS Taxis is based in Grays, Essex, a short run from the city but out of the congestion charge and the queues — which is exactly why cabbies bring their cars to us. We built the business around the vehicles we know inside out: the TX4, the Mercedes Vito, and the LEVC TXE, London's electric cab.
As the TXE has become the standard cab on the road, we've put real investment into understanding its electrical and range-extender systems — so when a driver's warranty runs out, they've still got somewhere that can diagnose it properly and get them back working, instead of waiting weeks for a main dealer slot.

Every job we take on is scheduled with one thing in mind: your cab is how you earn. That's why we guarantee a 48-hour turnaround on reconditioned ERAD units, and why our servicing slots are built around getting you back on the rank, not around our convenience.
